Close Strategies
AVAILABLE IN: 
Introduction
Closing a strategy on the platform means moving it to the Archive state, after which it is no longer active, cannot be subscribed to and will not appear on the Marketplace.
A strategy goes through different lifecycle stages:
Stage | Description |
|---|---|
Draft | A rough version of the strategy, not yet active. “Investment Declaration” and “Holdings” are filled, trading settings are configured, and the strategy is submitted for approval. |
Published | The strategy is approved, published on the Marketplace, and active. Clients can subscribe and investments begin. |
Archive | The strategy is closed. It is no longer active, cannot accept subscriptions, and is removed from the Marketplace. |
Once archived, you cannot restore the strategies from the archive.
Closing a strategy requires certain conditions to be met.
Archiving Conditions
Before archiving, ensure:
Strategy is not published on the Marketplace
No active clients
If these conditions aren’t met, the Approve button is disabled.
Archiving a Strategy
Navigate to the strategy you want to close.
Check its current status (Draft, Published, or previously unpublished).
Double click on the row to open the Strategy.
From the drop-down, select Archive.
The platform will evaluate whether the archiving conditions are met.
If ✅, Approve is enabled > click to Archive.
If ❌, fix issues first (unpublish strategy, unsubscribe clients).
The strategy status changes to Archived.
After Archiving
Once archived:
It is removed from the Marketplace and no longer visible to clients.
Clients cannot subscribe to it.
Historical trades and holdings remain for reference.
