Amalgamate Transactions
Introduction
Amalgamate is a smart function that lets you combine multiple individual transactions under a single parent transaction. Think of it as a way to group several similar entries into one, making your data cleaner and easier to manage. The platform calculates key values such as:
✅ Total Quantity
✅ Gross Amount
✅ Net Amount
✅ Accrued Amount
✅ Total Value
✅ Average Price
This is especially helpful when:
You have multiple BUY or SELL bank transactions that need to be matched with a single order transaction, or
You need to review or show a client a single aggregated transaction instead of thousands of individual ones.
And with the new bulk feature, you can select or unselect all transactions in one click, making it even easier to work with large datasets. Instead of handling each transaction one by one, you can now quickly select them all and amalgamate them into a single parent transaction.
