Overview of User Roles and Permissions

Introduction

This document provides an overview of the platform’s role-based access and how to customize it to suit your organization’s needs. The platform comes preconfigured with default roles, each with specific permissions, enabling efficient user management. This guide will walk you through the different roles and their corresponding permissions, helping you understand how access is granted and tailored for different users.

Default Roles and Their Permissions

VIEW ALL- view all records created in the platform

VIEW BY COMPANY - view all records related to the Company of the current user

VIEW RELATED- view only records related to the Portfolio where current user is associated

CREATE - create the new record

MODIFY ALL - modify all records created in the platform

Client

Use Cases

Create Account

  1. Client Administrator creates Account with all personal information, related documents and sends Account to the review,

  2. Compliance review the Account:

    1. specify account Structure,

    2. indicate account Risk Profile

    3. approve account and add the next review date

Create Portfolio

Client Administrator creates:

  1. Bank Accounts,

  2. Mandate with agreement start date,

  3. Indicates Authorised Persons to the Portfolio and their access - view only / trading

  4. Chooses Portfolio Base Currency

Please note that client Portfolio can consist from the Bank Accounts as Standard as Virtual (As Omnibus Sub-account). Read the instructions how to create Omnibus Bank Account and add sub-accounts.

Setup Restrictions

  1. Compliance creates Risk Profiles according to the company policy - specify Instrument classification and add hold restrictions to it,

  2. Compliance associates Risk Profile with the Account,

  3. Compliance add personal restrictions to the Portfolio via the Mandate.

To create a risk profile, you need to specify the criteria of the instrument that you want to limit in the investment portfolio's weighting. To specify the criteria, use the instrument fields. Please note that upon request, the administrator can create new fields if you do not find the ones you need.

If you have more specific restrictions (due to the sanctions and etc.) it is possible to create the Custom Process to through exception when creation order, transaction and so on based on the Account, Order, Instrument details.

Grand Access to the Portfolio

  1. Once the portfolio is configured and ready for management, the Client Administrator grants access to the authorised person by changing the status to ACCESS.

  2. The platform sends a "Welcome Letter" with an activation link to the provided email.

Receive incoming payment

  1. Once the Client has transferred the funds, the platform initiates a transaction for verification.

  2. If all the data is correct, a Back Office employee confirms the operation.

  3. The platform creates request to Compliance to check investment.

  4. Compliance review the investment and confirms operation

  5. The platform updates the portfolio position - an available amount of funds is now present for placing a trade order.

The platform allows for configuring automatic submission of all operations for approval according to your business process.

Place Order

  1. According to the access settings, an Authorized Person with the right to place an order creates a buy/sell order for the asset.

  2. The platform validates the order for strict constraints. If it passes the validation, the order is created and sent for review (according to platform settings).

  3. The platform books the available cash for the order amount (for a buy order) or blocks the asset (for a sell order).

  4. When the order passes the review, the Trader receives a notification about the new order.

  5. The Trader executes the order (supporting both DMA and OTC execution).

  6. The platform records the transaction based on the provided data and recalculates portfolio positions.

  7. Waiting for the report from the bank.

Track Bank Statements

If Order Management platform is included in the plan, transactions based on the execution result will be created in the platform and participate in calculations as unsettled part of position until custody report is received and data is matched. If transaction details are matched, platform automatically approves order transaction and enriches it with custody info.

  3. The platform sends transactions that do not match for manual review,

  4. Back Office review transaction and approves it

  5. The platform recalculates position based on the changes

Produce Report

The platform allows for generating the Client Valuation Report and several regular reports such as the CRS report, Mifir, and others.

If the platform does not provide a specific report that needs to be generated, it is possible to obtain the required information by using filters and exporting data.
